What Pack 50 Does

(Pack-tivities)

Pack 50 is committed to creating a welcoming, safe environment where Scouts can freely express themselves, share their experiences, and become the best version of themselves by learning from and respecting each other.

The Scouting Mission

Scouts aims to prepare young people for lives of impact and purpose.  We welcome, at every level of our movement, youth and families who wish to live such a life of impact and purpose.

This is Family Scouting

While some events are best suited for scouts and an accompanying adult, the majority of events are designed for the whole family to participate. Pack 50 embraces family participation.

Pack 50 is active

The Pack is most active during the academic year. And while every year is its own unique and amazing adventure, there are events that the Pack does every year:

Calling All Tigers - August

  • The Pack’s annual recruiting event.

Scouting For Food - November

  • Once a year the Pack conducts a food drive to benefit local food banks.

Tree Lighting - December

  • The Pack takes part in the Town of San Anselmo’s tree lighting ceremony.

Snow Camp - February

  • The Pack travels to the historic Clair Tappan Lodge to enjoy Tahoe in peak winter.

Pinewood Derby - March

  • The quintessential Scouting event. Fun for the whole family.

Blue & Gold Dinner - May

  • The Pack celebrates the scouts graduating Cubs and moving on to Boy Scouts.

Crossover - June

  • The promotion ceremony for scouts within the Pack.

Sleepy Hollow 4th of July Parade - July

  • One of the best Fourth of July parades the Bay Area has to offer and Pack 50 is part of the flag raising ceremony at the club house. And, it’s a pretty epic water fight too.

And top of all of this great stuff, there’s some hiking, camping, and other events that are fantastic.
